Breakfast at Wellington House
Breakfast at Wellington House is served in our lovely, relaxing and intimate lounge dining room. The room is tastefully decorated with William Morris Arts and Crafts wallpaper and features numerous period fixtures and fittings. Sit back and relax while we serve you a Full Cornish Breakfast. The perfect start to another great day out in Cornwall.
The Full Cornish Breakfast consists of two rashers of smoked back bacon, a large pork sausage, hash brown, baked beans, grilled tomato, mushrooms and egg of your choice - fried, scrambled or poached. As an alternative, we also have a number of Breakfast Specials including:
- Proper Porridge made with Scottish Oats served with Syrup or Honey
- Toasted English Muffins with Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Egg
- Fresh Cut Summer Fruit Salad - Melon, Nectarine, Strawberries and Grapes
- Winter Fruit Compote (Sultanas, Prunes, Apricots, Raisins, Goji Berries and Cranberries) with Natural Yogurt
- Toasted English Muffins with Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Egg, or with 2 Poached Eggs on top
- Smoked Haddock or Scottish Kipper with Poached or Scrambled Egg
- Toasted Potato Farls or English Crumpets Buttered and Topped with your choice of Eggs with Mushrooms / Tomatoes
All of the food we serve is freshly cooked to order in our clean and well equipped kitchen. We have a range of top quality local suppliers including Westcountry Fruit Sales and Lillie Brothers Dairy. All food is locally sourced and in season whenever possible.
